BMW R100CS Colour Schemes

Produced in: Ocean Blue (Blue Motorsport); Dunkel Red; Classic Black; Red Metallic; Hell Silver; Two Tone (Smoke) Red? This list may not be comprehensive. Not all colours would be available in all markets or for all years.
Karl Hubeny informs me that the following colours were used for the years listed below: 1981/82 1. black, BMW paint ref.code 506 with gold lining 2. metallic red, p.r.c. 553 - was two tone, a combination of 031 and 089 colours sprayed wet-in-wet and then finish with clear lacquer, gold lining, as seen on the photos of your page - 100% original, as left the factory. 1983/84 1. the two tone metallic red was changed over to a single tone metallic red: paint ref. code 566, gold lining 2. black
